Requirements:

  • MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, any relevant branch such as Electronics, IT, MIS with 3 years relevant experience with data center infrastructure.
  • In lieu of Master’s or foreign equivalent degree and 3 years of experience, Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above followed by 5 years of relevant progressive experience in data center infrastructure is accepted.
  • At least 1 year of working experience with Cisco UCS Director
  • At least 1 year of working experience with Cisco IAC
  • Expertise in Virtualization software, SAN Storage, Networking and Datacenter Server for effective installation and configuration of physical infrastructure and cloud solutions in customers’ data centers.

Duties:

  • Work in various Data Center solutions to manage and monitor converged or hyperconverged infrastructure stack of Virtualization, Networking and Storage
  • Utilize his/her expertise in Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud, UCS Director and Cloud Center to analyze and ensure their compatibility and supportability with customer’s datacenter
  • Take a lead role in implementing VMware and Hyper-V virtualization solutions with Cisco UCS, EMC and NetApp using iSCSl and FC protocols
  • Deploy UCSD, Prime Service Catalog and Cisco Hyperflex at customer datacenter
  • Configure and troubleshoot enterprise and datacenter switches and routers including catalyst and Nexus 9K switches
  • Install and configure UCS servers and Cisco ACI and integrate them with UCS Director;
  • Utilize API and scripting knowledge to design complex workflow and orchestrate application deployment
  • Collaborate with customer to formally transition the configured customer environment and related architectural design documents
  • Physically rack and stack various heavy (up to 50 pounds) datacenter equipment
  • Perform knowledge transfer to customers’ IT staff and provide continuous technical support for the configured cloud solutions.

Additional Information:

  • Location:Frisco, TX
  • Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Monday – Friday
  • Job will require extensive (~80%) travel to client sites.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • In lieu of Master’s or foreign equivalent degree and 3 years of experience, Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above followed by 5 years of relevant progressive experience in data center infrastructure is accepted.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Karaf, Camel, Apache CXF, Active MQ and other ServiceMix ESB frameworks
  • At least 1 year of experience in Virtualization software, SAN Storage, Networking and Datacenter environment to build cloud solutions in customer’s datacenters.

Duties:

  • Work in Data Center/Private Cloud environment for designing and developing integration services with different third party tools for automating infrastructure related tasks
  • Utilize his/her expertise in UCS Director, Cisco Prime Service Catalog and Cloud Center to automate or making orderable services of infrastructure related tasks in datacenter
  • Design, develop solutions as services or products to configure and deploy in customer environment
  • Use Source Versioning tool, build automation and environments using scripts and various other tools for environment setup, development, and build automation.
  • Development of product using Karaf, Camel, Apache CXF, Active MQ. Develop automation connector for different Storage in Cisco UCS Director for automating the mundane tasks like creating LUN, Create Volume etc.
  • Utilize API and scripting knowledge to design complex workflow and orchestrate application deployment
  • Experience in collaborating with customer to formally transition the configured customer environment and related architectural design documents
  • Perform knowledge transfer to customers’ IT staff and provide continuous technical support for the configured cloud solutions.
